SHTE: Swedish Suppliers of Heat Treatment Equipment
SHTE is a Nordic association of suppliers to heat treaters within the steel and engineering industry. The association was founded in 1996 to promote development in industrial heat treatment.
Our purpose
- Promote technical competence among manufacturers and customers.
- Support environmentally sustainable technology and strengthen the trade.
- Contribute to national and international standardisation.
- Arrange courses, conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
- Provide a forum for knowledge exchange and cooperation.
Activities
SHTE arranges the Heat Treatment Conference, spring and autumn meetings, company visits and recurring courses covering the fundamentals of heat treatment and modern heat treatment equipment.
Membership
Members receive reduced fees for courses and exhibition space and become part of a network connecting suppliers, customers, research institutes and universities.
Organisation
SHTE is affiliated with the Swedish Welding Commission, a non-profit organisation supporting industrial companies, research institutes, authorities and other organisations.
